Built on your feedback – Fare Forecaster usage jumps 50% in 30 days
Customer feedback loops are integral to CTM’s technology roadmap. When they told us they wanted an increase in their users’ use of the Fare Forecaster tool to drive savings, we listened.
By incorporating their feedback on product placement within the CTM Portal, we delivered updates that made forecasting airfares more visible and accessible. The result? A 50% increase in usage in just one month after implementation – proof that when our customers shape the roadmap, everyone benefits.
Since the enhancement, there has been a 79% increase in customer accounts using Fare Forecaster and a 26% increase in individual users in FY25 compared to FY24, and it continues to grow. With more customers using Fare Forecaster, they are seizing opportunities to stretch their travel budgets further by identifying the cheapest day to travel.
Using CTM’s Fare Forecaster feature, we analysed* the top routes across the US, Europe, Australia & New Zealand, and Asia. CTM found that shifting an overnight itinerary by just 1-4 days could regularly save business travellers upwards of 12%, and in some cases up to 67%, on their flight price. While not every trip can be moved to a different day, the savings on offer mean that even if a minority of travellers switch their travel dates by just one or two days, the savings to an organisation’s travel budget will still have a positive impact.
