British Airways adds Guernsey and Tivat to summer schedule
Seasonal flights from London Heathrow to Tivat, Montenegro will launch on 14 May 2026 and operate three times per week throughout the summer season. The airline has also announced year-round daily flights to Guernsey, starting 19 April 2026. Read more
Air France announces La Première network expansion, with four new destinations
Air France’s La Premiere service will soon be available to customers flying from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Atlanta (29 March), Boston (20 July), Houston (6 July), and Tel Aviv (15 December). Read more
New Air France lounge with spa to open in London Heathrow’s terminal 4
Air France will open a new 750 square metre lounge in London Heathrow airport, reserved exclusively for their La Première, Business* and Flying Blue Elite Plus customers. It will feature 150 seats, a dining area, a spacious bar, spa and relaxation areas, and space for working. Read more
Lufthansa Group unveils exclusive check-in area at Frankfurt Airport
Lufthansa Group has modernised its Premium Check-in Area in Frankfurt Airport’s Terminal 1, Hall A. First Class passengers, HON Circle members, Senators, and Star Alliance Gold status customers can access the new check-in area, which features a spacious section with changing rooms, high tables with charging stations, and comfortable seating. There are also exclusive baggage machines for extra convenience. Read more
Austrian Airlines increases flights to Greece, Spain and Italy for summer 2026
Austrian Airlines has announced 490 additional flights to destinations across Greece, Spain, and Italy between 29 March and 24 October 2026. This includes new additions to its Spanish summer flight schedule, Bilbao and Alicante. Read more
Lufthansa Group reopens renovated Stuttgart Airport lounge
The area has been completely redesigned, with two exclusive sections – the Business Lounge and the Senator Lounge. Features include an automated digital access control system, a wide range of food, drinks, magazines and newspapers, and designated areas for eating, working and relaxing. The Senator Lounge also has a barista coffee bar, with locally roasted beans. Read more
ITA Airways announces new summer service connecting Rome with Houston, Texas
Between 1 May and 31 May 2026, ITA Airways will operate three flights per week on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. This will then increase to five weekly frequencies from 1 June to 24 October, with the additional services on Saturday and Sunday. Read more

Leonardo Hotels expands footprint in Germany
Leonardo Hotels Central Europe has acquired four IntercityHotels across Nuremberg, Freiburg, Magdeburg and Erfurt, each boasting central locations in close proximity to main railway stations. The acquired hotels will first operate under a white label banner, until renovations are completed in Q2 this year. Read more
Meliá’s first hotel in the Dolomites set to open in May
Meliá Hotels International has announced the signing of its first property in the heart of the Italian Alps. The four-star 53-room hotel will be located in Auronzo di Cadore – the gateway to the Dolomites three majestic peaks. Guests can enjoy an all-day dining restaurant, a bar, and full-service spa. Radisson Individuals Bath Hotel & Spa opens in Matlock Bath
Surrounded by lush gardens and the Derbyshire countryside, the hotel features 54 beautiful rooms, spa, sauna, steam room, and restaurant serving locally-inspired dishes with seasonal produce. Canopy by Hilton brand enters Türkiye with two new openings in Istanbul and Izmir
Canopy by Hilton Istanbul Taksim features 110 rooms, a wine bar and an all-day Turkish and international fusion restaurant, a short distance from Taksim Square and Istiklal Avenue. Canopy by Hilton Izmir Bomonti is located within the Mahall Bomonti complex in the cultural and historic Bomonti neighbourhood. Eurostar reveals plans to explore direct connection between London and Germany
Eurostar and Deutsche Bahn have announced their joint intentions to offer a direct, long-distance route from London to major German cities, including Cologne and Frankfurt. The service is targeted to launch in the early 2030s, using Eurostar’s new double-decker Celestia trains. Read more
