Etihad Airways announces new nonstop flights between Luxembourg and Abu Dhabi
Etihad Airways will make history as the first Middle East airline to fly to Luxembourg, with flights launching on 29 October 2026. The service will operate three times per week onboard A321LR aircraft with three cabin classes, including First Suites and lie-flat Business. Read more
United introduces meal pre-ordering for customers travelling in Economy
United customers travelling in the Economy cabin can now order fresh meals like burgers and sandwiches before their flight, via the airline’s website and app. This move intends to give customers more choice and while helping to reduce food waste. From 1 March, this will be the only way to purchase fresh entrees but snack boxes, packaged snacks and beverages will still be available to purchase onboard. Read more
LOT Polish Airlines reveals redesigned Boeing 737 MAX 8 cabin interior
Inspired by Poland’s natural landscapes, the design concept aligns with LOT’s refreshed business lounges introduced to passengers last year. The new aesthetic combines a colour scheme with deep blues and warm amber accents with thoughtful use of light to enhance comfort and relaxation. Passengers will also enjoy modern seats with a six-way adjustable headrest, USB-C ports, a mobile phone holders and a range of ergonomic features. Read more
Air India’s new bespoke B787-9 takes off on popular Mumbai-Frankfurt route
The all-new B7878-9 features new custom-styled interiors, type A and C charging ports, Bluetooth headphone connectivity, onboard mood lightning inspired by ancient Indian wellness traditions throughout. Alongside Economy and Premium Economy cabins, the aircraft has 30 Business Class suites in a spacious 1-2-1 layout, each offering fully flat beds up to 79 inches long with a 42-inch pitch, wireless charging, large 17-inch 4K QLED HDR touchscreens and ample storage. Hotel Rathauspark Wien opens in the heart of Vienna
The opening marks the brand debut of Accor’s Handwritten Collection in Austria. Set within a beautifully-restored 19th-century Viennese residence, the 102-room hotel is conveniently-located nearby Vienna’s City Hall, the Hofburg, and Museums Quartier.
Hilton signs The BoTree London, Curio Collection in Marylebone
The 200-room hotel offers guests three distinct experiences: LAVO, a two-storey restaurant serving coastal-Italian cuisine; The BoTree Bar, a stylish day-to-night social hub; and 77, cultural venue for exclusive parties and events. For more intimate gatherings, there is also a 33-seat screening room. Waldorf Astoria Marbella will offer 120 guest rooms and suites and 120 branded residences. Amenities will include indoor and outdoor pools, two restaurants, lobby bar, pool bar, spa with four treatment rooms, fitness centre, meeting spaces, and golf course access. Read more
Radisson Individuals opens two new hotels in Southern Germany
HARBR. Hotel Konstanz is nearby the Bodenseeforum Konstanz conference and events venue. It features 76 stylish rooms and studios with kitchenettes, the ‘Living Room’ restaurant and ‘Spelunke’ bar with a maritime-inspired atmosphere. HARBR. Hotel Heilbronn offers 127 rooms and suites, including 15 long-stay apartments in one of Germany’s most celebrated wine regions. LNER’s First Class Lounge at London King’s Cross set for major refurbishment
Estimated to reopen in spring, the redesign will add extra seating capacity, dedicated zones for working and additional storage for luggage and pushchairs. The reception area and toilet facilities will also be upgraded. Read more
Blacklane launches operations in four new cities in Italy and Germany
Customers in Varese, Bergamo, Verona, and Nuremberg can now experience Blacklane’s luxury mobility services, including airport transfers, long city-to-city journeys, in-city travel, and chauffeurs by-the-hour. The addition of Varese also facilitates cross-border travel between Italy and Switzerland. Read more
