Airline updates
Air Canada expands its 2026 network with new European destinations
Flights will operate from Montréal to Catania in Sicily, Italy and Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Air Canada has also re-established its non-stop flights to Budapest, as well as increasing their flights to Prague now with an extra flight for a total to 4 trips a week. Read more
Emirates debuts its first retrofitted Boeing 777 in Africa
Emirates showcased its retrofitted Boeing 777 in Cape Town and Johannesburg, featuring the debut of Premium Economy in South Africa, a new 1-2-1 Business Class layout, refreshed interiors across all cabins, and added comforts like amenity kits, upgraded IFE, and exclusive sparkling wine. Read more
Qatar announces a brand new destination to its network, the Red Sea Saudi Arabia
The airline will be operating three weekly flights to The Red Sea, its 12th destination in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The new service is set to start operating from the 21st of October 2025. Read more
Lufthansa’s first Dreamliner lands in Frankfurt
Lufthansa’s Dreamliner, featuring a brand-new interior and Allegris Cabin, has landed in Frankfurt. The new arrival is going to be used on flights from Frankfurt to Toronto; this is due to be rolled out starting in mid-October. Lufthansa is due to gain up to nine Boeing 787-9s in Frankfurt, the company’s largest hub.
Air France announces brand new Embraer 190 Cabin
Air France launched its new Embraer 190 cabin on 1 September 2025, starting with the Paris–Hamburg flight operated by HOP!. The updated 110-seat layout features more comfortable leather seats, USB ports, improved storage, and high-speed Wi-Fi. Business class will gain extra privacy with an empty adjacent seat from October 2025. All Embraer 190s will be refitted by summer 2026. Read more
KLM celebrates the launch of its new Hyderabad route
Departing from Amsterdam, this is the airline’s fourth Indian destination – alongside Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. The Boeing 777-200ER will depart to the new destination three times a week. Read more
Klagenfurt becomes Austrian Airlines latest AIRail Destination
From the 14th of December 2025 Klagenfurt will be the newest AIRail destination due to the opening of the Koralm Railway. Passengers can seamlessly travel to over 125 destinations by the “From Train to Plane” concept. Read more
KLM has announced its winter destinations
KLM is due to set off to 161 destinations this winter. The airline network has added Kittilä in Finland to its network and announced the return of it’s Barbados flights. KLM will operate flights to these destinations three times a week from November 2025. Read more
KLM reveals updated service concept for long-haul flights: More interaction, more seats
KLM is set to roll out a new service approach on its intercontinental routes from 2027. The redesign will make space for more personal interaction with passengers, while also adding extra seating. The number of seats will be expanded up to 40 extra, final numbers will depend on the aircraft type. Updates include new Marcel Wanders tableware in World Business Class and an expanded Premium Comfort Class. Read more

Village Hotel group is set to open 610 The Avenue, a brand new events space in London
On the 21st of October 2025, Village Hotel’s brand new events location 610 The Avenue will open adjacent to Village Hotel London Watford. The venue’s flexible event spaces can accommodate up to 300 guests for celebrations, corporate meetings, and events as well as offering premium dining options.
Accor expands its presence in Italy with the signing of Sofitel Genoa Waterfront
Offering 120 guest rooms and 20 suites, Sofitel Genoa is a blend of elegance and maritime heritage. Its location is a prime spot for travellers linking Genova to Milan in only 53 minutes. Guests can expect an onsite spa, lobby lounge bar and gym. The hotel is set to open in 2027. Read more
Q Hotels Belton Woods unveils main meeting space refurbishment
The space can now cater for up to 270 people for theatre-style events and 150 people for cabaret-style events. This space has been transformed into a versatile and modern space. The site has also added six new EV chargers.

Radisson RED London Twickenham is in close proximity to the stadium and features 150 guest rooms and all-day dining. Guests have the chance to be immersed in England’s rich rugby heritage as well as experiencing bold designs and a sophisticated décor. Read more
Landmark signing secured by Radisson Hotel Group in France at Paris Opera, Charles de Gaulle, Cannes and Bourges
Radisson Hotel Group is expanding in France with new hotels at Paris Opera, CDG Airport, Cannes, and Bourges. Banke Opera Paris opens Q3 2026 (90 rooms), Radisson Blu CDG (305 rooms) in late 2025, Radisson Resort Cannes in 2026 (100 rooms), and Hôtel Beaux Arts Bourges in 2027 (52 rooms), bringing the French portfolio to 34 properties. LNER improves mobile coverage on the East Coast Line
LNER enhances mobile and Wi-Fi connectivity along a scenic 45-mile stretch of the East Coast Main Line in Northumberland, eliminating ‘not-spots’ with new masts installed in partnership with Railsite, O2, Vodafone, Three, and local council. Read more
Avanti West Coast rolls out additional services in updated timetable
Avanti West Coast is expanding services with a new timetable, adding 86 weekly trains and 38,000+ seats. Liverpool–London sees 36 extra trains, Birmingham gets 26 more, with new late services to Manchester and Chester. The Evero fleet supports the uplift, taking weekly services beyond pre-pandemic levels. Read more
LNER enhances capacity with comprehensive new timetable
LNER is launching its biggest timetable change in over a decade this December, adding nearly 10,000 services per year and over 60,000 seats weekly. Changes include 32 more weekday trains to/from London King’s Cross, a new fast hourly Edinburgh–London service, and extra capacity between Newcastle, York and the capital. Read more
